Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking for skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to manage daily restaurant operations, assist with menu planning, maintaining sanitation standards and assist servers and hosts on the floor during peak hours. A Restaurant Supervisor continually improve guests and employees satisfaction and maximizes financial performance through upselling and cost control techniques.

Requirements:

• Minimum high school level graduate, DHM or BHM preferred
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene management
• Fluency in English, Hindi, and Nepalese (additional languages preferred)
• Strong computer skills, including restaurant billing and cash handling
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a similar position in a 4/5-star hotel or resort

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the dining area and supervise food and beverage service employee according to operating policies
• Create a positive team atmosphere among team members
• Provide regular feedback and coaching to the team
• Set standards for appropriate team behaviors on shift
• Schedule periodic food and beverage service employee meetings to ensure correct interpretation of policies and obtain feedback from employees
• Check the quality of deliveries of fresh foods and beverages
• Seek, listen and responds to guest feedback
• Coach team on how to exceed guest expectation
• Analyze reports to identify issues and implement solutions
• Use computer software to monitor inventory, track employee schedules, and perform other record-keeping tasks 
• Ensure that the restaurant and room service areas are maintained to a high standard of decoration and cleanliness 
• Work under the F&B Manager and duly report to him / her
