Requirements:

  • Proficiency in crafting a diverse range of culinary delights, with a strong focus on creating exquisite Continental and Chinese dishes.
  • Minimum High School level graduate; formal culinary education preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar position in a 4/5-star resort or resort
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene management
  • Strong computer skills, including product calculation and cost control

Responsibilities:

  • Constantly update menus with a focus on seasonal availability
  • Calculate menus to maximize gross profit
  • Train staff on portion control and presentation
  • Ensure all dishes leaving the kitchen meet quality, quantity, and temperature standards
  • Gather guest feedback and visit restaurant tables regularly
  • Conduct daily meetings with culinary staffs for kitchen department coordination
  • Maintain strict hygiene standards in all kitchen areas
  • Ensure staff adhere to dress code and statutory requirements
  • Manage stock orders for quantity, quality, and price
  • Safeguard proper storage conditions for all stock items
  • Display statutory notices prominently
  • Stay updated with industry trends and skills
  • Conduct regular stock checks and adhere to budgeted expense limits
